Alison was born and raised in Longmont, Colorado. She attended the University of Denver, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies
in 2007.  Alison then attended the William S. Boyd, School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she received her Juris Doctor degree in 2011.

While in law school, Alison was an active member of Phi Alpha Delta, Minority Law Students Association, Student Bar Association and Sports and Entertainment Law Association. Alison completed externships with the Eighth Judicial District Court Judge Michael P. Villani and the Clark County Public Defender’s Office Sexual Assault Team. Alison was also selected to participate as a student attorney in the Juvenile Justice Clinic where she received her first acquittal on a felony assault with a deadly weapon after taking the case to a contested hearing.

Alison has focused her career on Criminal Defense since she was admitted to practice law in Nevada in 2011. During that time, she has handled a broad range of criminal cases, from Driving Under the Influence (DUI) and Battery Domestic Violence (BDV) to Robbery with a Deadly Weapon and Sexual Assault. Alison has handled hundreds of misdemeanor and felony criminal cases, and thousands of traffic citations throughout every Court in Clark County, Nevada.
